Had the very pleasure of playing the technical test and it plays already at least as good as the first game. The characters are again very sympathetic, and Hecate is voiced by Amelia Tyler, the narrator in Baldur's Gate 3. She is just wonderful. :D

So the good news is the Technical Test ended on Monday and Supergiant said if the test went well (it seemingly went very well but the very few bug reports on Steam forums) that EA would start very shortly. I'd wager EA will start within May with early June being that absolute latest.

Well, the sequel is cooler than the original. The arcana is better than a mirror, the bloodstone was replaced with a pentagram, which is better. And I can use the Witch's Time. Death to Kronus.

Well the tech test ended on Monday, and I cannot wait to jump into this when its out in early access. NGL my eye started twitching at some of the pronunciation of the character names lol.

So did they give a compelling reason why they didn't just bring the main character back other than put a chick in it and make it lame or gay? Considering if we just take the true ending of Zag reuniting hades and persephone and he's escaped Hell so he's not in hell when Kronos takes over. Wouldn't he like ya know come back to save his Dad?
If they pull a last of us part 2 and somehow in the story of hades 2 they just said he did come back and try to stop kronos but got killed/imprisoned both reasons aren't gonna be super compelling for me.

Oof. I generally think you guys are great but a big miss here in referencing the stream but obviously not watching it given the pronunciation of the main character. Do like, five more seconds of research next time my dudes.
