Well Cronos, you can stop the pause button but you don't have the power to stop the HOME button.

So many characters with the ability to stop time, but this is probably the first time I've seen someone literally say, "no." when you try and pause the game and casually unpauses it.

Crueler than this is the fact that Chronos entirely ignores any magic abilities you have that slow down time

For anyone worried about emergencies:

Supergiant clearly thought of this and added an upgrade you can buy after the first time this happens so you can pause it during the fight in later runs if you want to. So relax. Chronos will only fuck you the first time this happens.

...Unless you choose not to get the upgrade for shits and giggles, anyway.

That’s phenomenal that Supergiant thought of this.

I don’t want to spoil this game for myself by watching too many clips, but this is a perfect PSA to let us all know that if you’ve gotta hit the can while playing this game, y’best not try during any fight with Chronos…
