great vid guys made two .One like yours very unstable .number two added 3 inchs on each wing .No more wing wag and flys a lot more stable .Pluse used carbon push rods makes the plane more responsive in the air .

The rotors absolutely generate lift, they have angle of attack and there is air moving over them, so therefore you have lift!

on an autogyro, the wind turbine's 'exhaust' becomes buoyant, holding the thing high if you have a prop.

I did this but they have surprisingly little effect. This is partly because pushing one rotor down will increase its speed, thus making it want to go up again, and partly because the wings are very short. I guess you could extend the wings all the way to the width of the rotors and put the ailerons on the tips, but then it wouldn't even really need the rotors anymore...

Only thing the ailerons are good for is very high alpha and hovering.

Awesome gyro plane and it also seems to fly well but then again Bixler is a very good pilot. I enjoyed the video and flite test inspires me to do reviews even though mine are lower budget I still try. You guys even convinced me to get a GoPro(black edition) which I use for my reviews. Awesomeness! Keep up the good job! Take care ;)
