Once you learn that throttle controls altitude, and elevator controls airspeed, you’ll be fine...

when i flew mine i had to land nose up attitude and used the throttle to adjust for decent.  it make for a very smooth landing.  some aircraft can be the same way.  i have a p-51 that has to be brought in under power until landing otherwise i lose too much airspeed and it stalls.  just a tip..

can an rc be made to function like a real gyrocopter?  I was under the impression that a gyrocopter can lose power and land at a safe speed and upright.

Good work - but the wheels are small and they get caught by the grass.

I wonder if anybody has tried this without the pinwheels, they don't look like they give much lift .the prop and motor are doing all the work? I can't afford the hardware but I will build the air frame it's mostly good old dollar tree foam board and a few bits from a hobby shop.i went to two shops, just pricing motors and radio gear and they were happy to talk about FliteTest and one spent the time to draw up a list with prices for their swappable pod, when I get a few bucks I'm gonna get that.in the meantime I'm building foam board airframes, can't beat hot glue, tape and foam board, for low dough fun.
