I spent a lot of stellar jade for seele’s light cone. I got lucky with getting it around 30 something pulls. I had extra pulls due to insane luck on seele. I can see the logic of not pulling on light cone. If you have nothing to lose.

If you're familiar with FGO they're basically craft essences. They give addition stats when you level them up but they arent exactly mandatory. In FGO which has a cost system, sometimes you forego craft essences all together to bring stronger units.

i kind of agree, but if one passive is cracked and it ups your dmg % that much more its effectively the same.
I would say look at how splashable it is rather, is it tailor-made for that characters kit or is it like primordial jade cutter

Meh, I did it, I got both Seele and her light cone within 60 pulls.

And it might not be necessary but Seele's light cone is a huge boost over every other light cone, even at 0 dupes while the other light cones have dupes in them. So well worth it.

Honestly 5star is better overall, better state, more suitable for the character, but if you are free to play 4 star might be better overall

i do have that mindset but god damn did i broke that and got rewarded heavily.

Got Himeko of the Depature Warp
Got Himekos Light Cone of the Standard warp at 78 pity
Wished a total of 130 times on the Seele banner and got
Welt at 76, Seele at 126 and Clara at 130

And then, theres the weapon banner.. 64 wishes, 51st wish, Bronyas Light Cone, 64th In the Night.

Thats insanely lucky. I would never do that again. I got burned hard back in Genshin 2.5 on the Donut....

I got 2 on the regular banner, light cone of bailu which I gave to natasha, making her powerful and gepard light cone which I gave to Tank/Fire MC which make her indestructible so yeah even though I may not be lucky pulling character, Im happy on what I'd pull, but hopefully I get character next, preferably Bronya.

The only hoyoverse game i know of where you SHOULD pull on weapon banner is Honkai Impact, since characters suck without BiS
