My favourite moment is when she was the painted lady and said “ I am never going to turn my back on people who need me”

She went from being a novice to likely the most powerful water bender alive. All in the span of a single year. If she’s not the best water bender in history, then I’d say she’s at least one of the top five.

Actually, the one who saves the world is Sokka. If Sokka wasn't exist, Katara wouldn't be mad and destroy the ice and the Avatar rises.

Katara’s waterbending skills growth from episode 1 to The Southern Raiders is honestly one of the most amazing development of a character’s ability I’ve seen in a while in a TV show.

My favourite Katara moment is in the Desert episode, when everyone else is either hopeless, tripping, or exhausted, her will was literally the only thing that got them out of that situation. That moment showed me just how strong she was and later when she pulls Ang down from the air in his Avatar state with just the most defeated look on her face but with no fear... Man I love Katara she really is a boss.
