So hit that subscribe button as we’re about to go on another journey deep into the avatar universe.
So our story begins with a young boy named Yun, of the Earth Kingdom. As a young boy, he was initially misidentified as the Avatar to the whole world. Soon however the truth about Kyoshi being the real Avatar instead came to light, and his own personal mentor and masater, a man named Jianzhu completely abandoned him. The closest man Yun know, his only guardian and the one who discovered him as a boy betrayed him and gave him to a spirit to whisk away into the mountains, never to be seen again. A truly horrifying act from a master to an apprentice.
This betrayal led Yun to start a vengeful quest against all the bending masters and politicians who had lied to him about his Avatarhood. He was going to hunt down and brutally execute every single one.
Eventually this led him to cross paths with Avatar Kyoshi.
In his final battle, Yun returned to the city of Yokoya at the semi-abandoned Avatar mansion. Kyoshi, the true Avatar, and her friends confronted him. During the battle, Yun managed to injure many of Kyoshi's friends and even killed some of them. However, in the end, Kyoshi came face to face with Yun saying “I’m sorry you had to live with your pain…” Kyoshi put her palm to his chest in a gesture of comfort. “Because you won’t” The cold she sent through his body formed a tunnel of ice between his ribs. It happened so fast, and with so much force, the moisture in the air
behind him turned to frost. His back sprouted vaporous wings of crystal
that disappeared just as quickly.
With his heart and lungs frozen solid, Yun fell to the side.
Kyoshi took the hand with which she’d killed one of the two people
she’d loved and placed it against the wound of the other… after this she healed her other friend who had been injured in the confrontation… Contrasting her ability to swing between the most brutal of abilities, to the most noble… Using water to kill but also save…
Using the highly forbidden and frowned upon idea of bending the liquids inside someone to save another… Tell me if you think this was the right way to end Yun’s life. It’s certainly not an easy choice…
