Can we acknowledge that Katara went from not being able to properly waterbend a puddle of water to being able to control tsunamis, bloodbend, and stop the RAIN…. She easily had the best growth as a bender in the series other than Aang himself

Katara is so powerful with the sheer amount of water she can control at once and the precision she has to stop each individual rain drop is absolutely incredible. Her resourcefulness of using sweat, plantlife, and even water in the air and clouds makes her useful in almost any situation. Katara is the GOAT!

16:35 is what Hama wasn’t expecting and a moment I LOVE. Karata stood her ground like an earth bender instead of wavering like a water bender. She was so shocked and it showed how Karata is an elite water bender in both offense and defense.

I loved the payoff of her first fight with Azula. Before she was at her best in the series, Katara was capable of beating Azula in Ba Sing Se. In the finale, she confirmed it when Azula was supercharged by Sozin’s comet and still got put in her place

Katara bloodbending for the first was such a tragic moment you can tell she is ashamed of knowing and using such a dark and twisted technique despite doing it out of desperation

Lord! Her voice and the music in the background really complemented and gave it a great effect 😍😍. I could watch it a million times!

Okay but can we talk about 10:30 and the little bit of hand-to-hand that she attempted against her master? That was honestly and still is one of my fav moments of her.

Also 16:15 was really like the goose bump feeling of Katara really growing into herself as a master of water bending.
