I've had sleep paralysis a lot, and this only really happens if you open your eyes. I never open my eyes, but even if you don't you still here things. The first time I had it was one of the worst times, I heard static, water, and whispering, no clue what it said. If you've ever been in one of those rides where it spins you so fast you can't move, that is almost exactly what it feels like, and your body kind of pulses

when i was 13, i had a dream that i suddenly collapsed in the middle of a busy street and couldn’t get up. there were voices in my head screaming “wake up, get up.” it was absolutely terrifying. i have no idea if this was sleep paralysis or not, but i’m still traumatized by it.
