Broly. I can just say that anywhere, and people know exactly what I mean. Even before the new movie dropped which caused an uptick in hi popularity in this recent generation, people knew who he was. He was the only Z villain to originate in a movie, get three movies, a reboot film and end up canonized not once, but twice. To say Broly is popular would award me the Captain Obvious “Understatement of the Year” Award. What is it that makes him popular though? Is it how the old Broly looked like some greek god stepping out of the pantheon and onto the screens of our TVs? But then what about New Broly? He looks like a mountain man wearing that fur. Honestly, the only thing that would have made new Broly better would be a beard. But I digress on that. Why was he so popular? Was it because he was sweet and large? Playing on every Dragon Ball fan girls’ dream of “I can fix him”? I honestly think why Broly is popular has nothing to do with who he is, but what he is. Broly is shock and awe. Broly is in your face? Schizophrenia? Crying as a baby? Rich backstory or no backstory? No problem! Just give us that big berserker with green hair! Broly has always been a powerhouse. His strength was so incredible that when he made his first appearance on screen with those glorious one-liners back in ye olde 1993, the children in the viewing cried. And who wouldn’t? Look at the dude! You see that coming at you saying he’s going to blow your planet up, you’re gonna piss yourself in a second. That’s why I think Toriyama changed Broly a bit. A nice call back with the berserker nature, but all in all, he’s designed to become a hero, not a villain that they kill at the end of every movie. But therein lies the secret. That’s why we love him. He’s strong. He’s scary. He’s mean. And so, in honor of our frienemy, Broly, we’re going to take some time to discuss him. Discuss what he actually is. We’re going to learn what a Legendary Super Saiyan is.

My theory is that legendary is the truest and most primordial incarnation of super saiyan that was intended for only one saiyan. Unlike the weaker mutations, it’s not limited by fixed multipliers. Instead it taps into the saiyan’s innate zenkai capabilities making the legendary super saiyan as strong as they need to be. It’s just a constant influx and output of ki.Also I can’t believe I didn’t catch the journey to the west reference in Z Broly’s shock crown. It’s a reference to the golden crown that Tripitaka used to keep Sun Wukong in check

The one thing I love about the old and new Broly's design are the head and neck bands both wear.
This is a symbolism from the Journey to the west where Tang Sanzang as a precaution put gold headbands around Sun Wukong, Sha Wujin and Oolong as they were demons and that they would not disobey also to control their wild nature especially Sun Wukong who Broly is more closely based off in terms of his outfit and wild nature of when Sun Wukong attacked the Jade Emperor 500 years before his imprisonment.
The new Broly on the other hand tamed the wild beast Ba through his calm nature something Grand Pa Gohan did to tame Goku and Broly wearing Ba's ear is loosely symbolic to Sun Wukong wearing a tiger's skin in journey to the west.

It's easier for a legendary super saiyan to transform. That's why the saiyan version of the legend was a once in one-thousand event. The mutant, not the transformation.

Believe broly is a mutant Saiyan, like some gene that would naturally hold back the full power of a Saiyan wasn't formed in his genetic structure, kinda like a adrenaline rush, he got mutated to where he has access to all of the power he'll ever have as a Saiyan, and his super Saiyan transformations just boost it, that's just my take though.

I like the theory that Broly will awaken SSJ4 because he's the only person that could viably get it and use it to its full potential seeing as his power set is Basically Ikari (Great Ape) and SSJ.

The Legendary Super Saiyan seems to be the closest thing to the original Super Saiyan.

I never saw Broly as a villain, but as a victim really pitted against the Z Fighters.

Honestly all legendary saiyan’s seem to be pretty pure in base, (well og Broly, and kale have forms they can control.), they are more like a shy/quiet person than a prideful, and foolish saiyan.

Honestly if you gave any of the legendary saiyan’s the mystic/ultimate ritual form, you wouldn’t just have a character with the greatest potential, unless somehow you think Gohan’s potential is greater than somebody that went from Namiek saga to forcing Gogeta blue to end the fight as soon as possible, so Broly didn’t surpass him. You would have the perfect being to master ultra instinct, and ultra ego.

Toriyama did have some involvement with GT and it is cannon to the post Z pre Super anime only timeline.
That said, SS4 isn't cannon to the main manga/super timeline (yet).
It's complicated.

There's multiple reasons he's popular.
- he's a saiyan villain, which wasn't common and makes it more "even" with the heroes
- he can turn super saiyan, which was even less common
- has green hair instead of yellow, which made him stand out
- he's unique in the sense of 1 legendary super saiyan every 1000 years
- the white eyes and berserk state made him an absolute loose cannon which poses a bigger threat, so more on the line

For me it was mostly the green hair which instantly made me think that he was something different from normal saiyans.

Day [8] of requesting Naruto being born with Gojo’s six eyes.

Now I have a few ideas on how to execute this story and reasoning for how Naruto would get these eyes. Maybe the Namikaze clan or Uzumaki clan could have a rare ocular jutsu. I think it would be best if the Namikaze clan to be the reason for the six eyes because we currently don’t know much about the clan, and it would be a good way to implement them without changing the story too much. Like in jujutsu Kaisen, only one bearer of the six eyes can be alive at a given time, for somebody to be born with them no other bearer can be alive. I believe the Dojutsu would fit well.

I really want Naruto to have a kekkei mora, so we could explain that by saying the six eyes was an Ōtsutsuki exclusive Dojutsu, but the Namikaze clan eventually gain access to it. Perhaps the six eyes could be so potent of an Ōtsutsuki trait that it would allow its bearer to use and make kekkei mora.

Details to keep in mind while writing the story - Gojo eats sweets to keep his brain stimulated so Naruto should also occasionally eat sweets for the same reason.

Gojo has his eyes covered up to forestall being overpowered by the steady blast of visual data (so Naruto would wear dark glasses or a blindfold, but not in combat)

The mental prowess of the Six Eyes can turn one moment in reality into well over a minute’s worth of time within the user’s brain. This works well in tandem with the users enhanced sight, allowing them to analyze and calculate the positions of everything within view instantly. A sorcerer who possesses the six eyes can see things for several kilometers away, easily able to distinctly tell apart different figures within their vast range.

The sixes and allows the users to calculate the flow of cursed energy so in this case chakra and Gojo can see how any technique works just by looking at the user, he could look at Isshiki’s Dojutsu and understand how it would work and all abilities. So Naruto would be a very fast learner also intelligent. Naruto could also learn many chakra natures quickly if not all of them.

You could which I would love to see have Naruto be in a near death situation, where he unlocks Yang Yang release, allowing him to heal himself, where he would have his awakening and say the iconic line “Throughout heaven and earth I alone am honored”. (Naruto would have a bit of a power ego.)

I really hope they bring back super saiyan 4 and use Broly to introduce it. When broly got mad fighting vegeta and goku, Paragus said that even though his tail was removed he somehow figured out how to harness the great ape power. Sounds like a perfect segue into super saiyan 4. Maybe they’ll change it up a little bit instead of requiring a great ape transformation to reach ssj4 you’ll just have to harness the power of the great ape form and ascend.

Like, the dude has the strength to destroy south galaxy and limitless ki, but you're telling me that SSJ Goku with power from an absolutely wiped Vegeta, Gohan, trunks and piccolo was able to one shot him?
