I was really interested in your videos regarding your low iron. Back in my 30's I had low iron and doc's just said take some iron supplements. OK. I did for awhile. Didn't even think about it as my children got older. I was in my late 60's and noticed my equilibrium was off. I chalked it up to my sinus/ear problems. Doc's kept pushing antibiotics in me. A couple videos ago you were talking about your low iron and how you don't chew your meat long enough in order to absorb some of the nutrients (iron). So two weeks ago I cooked my steaks, sliced them thin and took a little bite at a time and chewed on each bite until it almost dissolved in my mouth. My symptoms have improved after two weeks. So thank you Nili for that advice. :)

I have severe anaemia, iron level 6 and ferritin level 3 with very low saturation. I am balding, my skin is white and nails brittle ect. Constant headaches….I was scared stiff getting the iron infusion and refused in the beginning but my levels were so dangerously low I was risking heart failure so in the end I decided to go (3 days ago now) I am highly sensitive to reactions and medications so I don’t take anything easily due to side effects. I went into the infusion expecting the worst but luckily and surprisingly it was COMPLETELY FINE. Was so certain I’d have a reaction and am so glad I went now, I was shocked to find after 2 days my complexion had changed completely….I was so used to seeing myself sick I was shocked how I looked just 2 days after the infusion, I wasn’t expecting that 😅
My heart also isnt racing quite as much anymore….it feels a bit calmer in my chest.
All in all I’m very glad I had it done…..can’t wait to see how I’ll feel in a few weeks after full effects.

You have discovered as I have discovered in my life that sometimes we walk a very fine line between reality and positive feelings. I don't even know whether I explained that well. You are someone I have always admired and that is still the case. I pray that this infusion will be a blessing to you.

I go August 8th for mine and I would not have known about Ferritin levels or any of this without you making a video about it…cause my doctor sure missed it…I’m forever grateful…

I heard your first announcement of anemia 2 days before I found out my ferritin was a 9 and iron 9.5. I was painting furniture and was just listening and thought, “that is interesting.” Little did I know. I found Krystal Moore because of you and I believe and hope her form of iron can help me avoid this in the future. I had infusion 2/2 yesterday and was sending you good iron vibes. I too hope that I feel or sense some shifts before 6 weeks. I also suspect that I have been anemic since kindergarten now that I am aware of the symptoms. I am now 44 and feel so much compassion for the little girl that was me that was hard at times. Being in my own skin was very confusing and I didn’t know how to articulate my experiences in my body. They thought I had SPD and severe depression later on. I have ALWAYS had restless abdomen and was absolutely shocked to hear it called something and referenced. You have been a tremendous help to me. Thank you 🙏🏻

Glad to see you got the infusion today, I hope that you see an improvement before the six weeks. I think all of us want to believe that all is well even when it isn't, but some symptoms come on so slow and go on for so long that you begin to think that it is just a normal sign of aging. Don't try to overthink what ifs, sometimes you can't catch every little change in your body and what it means. Keep the positive outlook as that always helps when dealing with things, but temper with some reality. You are doing fine.

See this is exactly why I think you’re brilliant, because you’re so insightful, and thought provoking and analyzing of yourself...keeping an open mind, nothing is ever black or white. I truly feel 99% of us are stuck in a grey area, praying it’s one way or the other. It becomes so complicated...life, living healthy or trying too get healthy/healthier...🙏😇💕💫🦄

When things like this happen I think "what if we had not been doing our best to eat as healthy as possible"? And being in upper 60s and working to push back Hashimoto's thinking it could be so much worse if I had not found out when I finally did and was not already doing my best. Glad you will be getting the help and hoping you quickly see improvement.

Hi Nili, I hope you find that you start noticing a positive difference before the six weeks, as I did. I truly believe that the iron infusions were the best choice for me. The strangest part for me was that they never were able to pinpoint why mine occurred. Praying for you dear one. 🙏🏻🕯🕊🤍💚

Just have to say thank you for ALL of the resources you've listed in the notes section. I have been dealing with a blood disorder that yields the same symptoms and blood values as iron deficiency anemia for 4 years now. My series of iron transfusions begins in less than 2 weeks so I'm going in with a 'prepared' mindset thanks to you sharing your journey. My infusions will be 3 hours long and weekly for at least 3 consecutive weeks.
