The GS Infusion Service was created to offer safe and convenient iron infusions for all patients with a referral from their doctor.
The video explains a bit more detail, but essentially you need;
1. A referral from your doctor with some information why you need an infusion, and what dose to give
2. To bring your prescribed iron from the pharmacy with you
3. Be well hydrated
4. Wear short sleeves or loose fitting sleeves
5. Read and sign the consent form
Iron infusions are available 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-1pm every second Saturday.
