when it's in the red, does that mean the note is sharp or flat?

Does it have different setting / switch for Bass and guitar? Or does it just recognize the vibrations of the string regardless of the instrument?

Is there a key progression i.e. which is the tightest you should go? And what do the different 'E' look like on the DAddario Eclipse? (TOTAL NOVICE trying to restring a dormant guitar and learnvto play)! THANKS!

On this tuner are calibration numbers that are adjusted by up and down arrows. What, why, and how are the calibration numbers used for standard guitar tuning?

Doesn’t help beginners when you don’t show every note and what it says on the tuner.

Stupid D’Addario turns off by itself, just when I'm in the middle of tuning.
