There's no shortage of guitar tutorials, but precious little of acoustic guitar amps for beginners. So thanks for that. I like how you don't assume that we know the technical stuff. There's a great deal of guitar snobbery on YouTube where the presenters are more interested in showing off their skills. Please comment on the settings on the guitar itself. Are the guitar's EQ settings not important when adjusting the amp's EQ settings?

yeah but seems to me one of the most important and basic things to go over is placement of the amp like where is the best place to use it if you are playing and singing thru the amp ? Just my 2 cents, Peace

I have a question do you first do the settings on your acoustic guitar, then seperate settings on the amp or do you ignore the settings on the guitar when using an acoustic amp

Sounds great. But I like to use an amp to modify, somewhat, the sound of my guitar. Unless I do, I just record my acoustic using a good microphone.
