I always sing on a "Ah" vowel in falsetto
even above 5th octave

I find lip trills help with extending or finding your head voice

Totally feel this. Definitely the EEs and OOs for me, but I need to vowel mod to AH after B5-C6. Ae is definitely my weakest vowel in head voice, it just sounds bad.

It's completely opposite for chest & mixed voice though.

Es and os are fine but if im going high i find the ah vowel gives me more space
