This is actually super useful to have a short like this, where I would want exactly this concise comparison on repeat

Great demonstration! I am helping a granddaughter develop her 'ear'. All from YouTube, text and facetime! Glad to come upon you. I will search to see if you have a demonstration showing the difference between falsetto and countertenor.

Falsetto
Head with a little chest
Head with a little more chest
Chest with a hint of head
( this is a bit of a stretch but it's almost like belting. Normally when you sing in higher parts of your voice even in chest you naturally have a really light head as a start )

Also mixing is a technique that disguises your break

Just found out I never sing in chest voice but always in head voice falsetto or occasionally in chest mix

Great🙂 but, the chest mix was actually a head mix and the chest voice was a chest mix. Pure chest can't go that high.

Woah how do you get your chest voice so high

the difference is how wide you open your mouth and the throat? 😊

Is the "chest" considered pulling chest?

What do the folds do when you get the F1/H2 coupling belt/chest thing? Do they still thin out as you're going higher? Asking out of pure curiosity.

When I sing I feel like there's an air balloon in my stomach after practiced chest mix.I can't feel any support from my diaphragm.

Excellent display...
Btw what is the note you sing : B4 ?
If so, being a barritone, I have also managed to hit that note with chest voice like I did in the songs by Westlife :
1. Flying Without Wings
2. No Place That Far

I thought head voice was supposed to be higher than falsetto

Can I just think of chest mix as a softer version of chest

I can do 1, 2 and 4 but not 3. Help me!

So the main difference between head voice and chest mix is that you let the airflow on thin mass pass through your mouth and nose at the same time right?
