One additional step required is to enable NFC on your phone to activate charging session. I typically have it disabled normally so I would have to go out of my way to enable it.

pretty cool my job is 5 miles away so after work 10pm, i stay there for 30ish minutes and essentially cost only my time to sit there. i'll bring my laptop and play some fps while it charges

Lots of near free or free level 2 chargers in my area. I'm wondering how they would feel if I regularly park my car there for 6-8 hours every day to recharge my car on their trickle chargers. Some of the car dealerships near me have them available. When I drove thru their lot I got lots of dirty looks wondering what I was doing. It was like they never seen an EV before.

Thanks for the video. A new to Tesla. I used a free Chargepoint station next to me in Amazon parking but when I came back, Tesla App Charging Stats shows $3 spent. Does Tesla or Chargepoint still charge you even if says it's free? I am confused.
I also charge my Tesla using regular outlet in the parking garage thinking it's going to be free but then the app shows $5.

Why can’t you just unplug the car and unlock it to stop charging? You literally have to tell it to stop?
