for me it's matte even though I could see that the glossy ones perform better. I am sensitive, I find matte is more relaxing, I appreciate my media better, and the mirror reflection of my entire apartment during the day even with blackout curtains reminds me of the CRT era in the 2000s. happy that there is at least a qd-oled mat thank you samsung, I will take it for kingdom come deliverance 2 and doom. good review, I also own both G8 OLED a G8 Mini LED, for me the scan lines on the mini LED at 240hz is annoying, Once u see them u can't unsee them, there more prominent on colourful scenes and when reading text, when set to 120hz the scanlines disappear

There is a problem with this monitor that I cannot solve. It is the color tone. When I select standard, the tone is very light blue, it is a very cold tone, and when I select warm1, it is very reddish. I cannot find a neutral tone like on my LG monitor.

Bought this monitor for $800 on prime day and even at this price I couldn’t recommend this product.

Yea the display is nice and very bright, the matte finish is barely there and doesn’t bother at all.

But the problem starts with the software, random back screens, static screens, having to turn it on and off and use the remote almost every time you use it. It’s definitely more of a tv than a monitor.

If they made this monitor strictly as a monitor with out the buggy tv software then it would def be a 10/10. I think the problem is with just Samsung in general even their g8 240hz mini leds have signal problems. Beautiful screens buggy systems.

Nice video. Do you use light bar and does it affect picture like raising black levels or adding reflections? I see light bar in the video but its turned off :D

I have that monitor is amazing but since I bought it I had a problem I hope you can help me basically I can not use DP with my pc because from time to time it sends me a black screen when I play having to restart the game mode the only way I solve this is using hdmi but it is quite annoying to lose the DP port.

Matte all day everyday. The people that complain that the Samsung G80SD and LG 32GS95UE are using matte don't own one of them. I own the LG 32GS95UE and it is amazing.
