Im 11 and when I go to sephora I always feel a bit anxiety when I look at the popular brands because I dont want them to be like "oH iTs oNe oF tHoSe kIdS" when I dont use retinol, BHA and AHA, and vitamin C on my skin and I use the testers correctly, being interested in popular skincare is fine, but vandalizing testers and using stuff thats not age appropriate for someones skin isnt.

i’m a tween and im obsessed with bath and body works, ulta and sephora. i don’t use retinol and high acids. i don’t ruin the testers instead i clean them! i am very friendly to the workers also! i also need to change up how i look and stuff before entering those stores because people judge me bc im a “sephora kid” that’s gonna ruin the testers, im just trying to have fun shopping!! who agrees?

This is so relatable though! There is a difference between a kid going to Sephora and buying products and then there’s a kid who’s rude to employees and eats testers and is just disruptive in the store. I’ve been to Sephora once and I was buying a sol de janerio pack and I swear everyone was looking at me for no reason! I wasn’t doing anything, but of course when people see a kid in Sephora they immediately assume that I’m a Sephora kid.

1.they destroy products just to get one of it 2. Theyre using the samples wastly thats why sephora is probably not doing anymore samples 3.theyre kids why should they do sephora? The worst part is people don’t realize that their unwanted opinions caused the problem in the first place. Like no, those kids weren’t born thinking they aren’t pretty enough and they weren’t born already thinking about how they look. People told them and so they tried to change.
