I’ve always loved being the support player in games. Nothing more satisfying then being the one to dropping people off, giving arty support, or just hand out ammo and supplies to those who need it.

Edit: Now that I think about it, the closest i’ve ever come to not being a support player was in battlefield 4 when I drove tanks.

Even then I never actually used them for kills. Just to give friendly infantry a source of heavy armor to use as cover as needed and acted as their anti-armor platform.

I couldn’t agree more, filling support roles has always been my forte. Especially when it comes to transport in Helicopters and such. More games need to support this play style.

This is such a big mood. I’m kinda the aggressive form of this, I’ll never willingly be a point man or a grenadier, but if you need sniper support, a ride into combat, or a target to just be gaued into non-existence, I’m your gal.

This is why I loved Planet Side 2 so much. The support rolls are unreal. Reviving medics, engineers for fixing and building, vehicles for spawning, sniper overwatch rolls, air combat, armored combat, transportation, had everything. I still play it. Lol

i relate to this heavily. in most games i usually play Healers, Support classes, or technical classes whose core mechanic isnt "shooty bang bang" as much as it is "do x to help your team"

Support play is awesome. You get to do what not many others do and support real players when doing it. Like GCI in DCS.

As an Arma player, can confirm, logi and transport are the most chill roles you can get, none of the stress of getting shot at, none of the stress of trying to lead people on the ground, just sitting back at the FOB or HQ just waiting for that radio call, chatting it up with CAS and other logi boys.
