I spent way to many years hearing this kind of skubala, for most of my Christian life, since 1981, the last 4 or 5 years I have had sound biblical teaching. I am still unraveling the demonic spiderweb of lies.

For a while I was force-fed this type of goop when I asked for help in trying to get to know more about the Lord. I was given books that thaught this and made me feel lousy because I couldn’t hear His voice. It was dreadful the feeling of not being able to do this “right”.

In the early 90’s I was the associate pastor of an A/G church. The senior pastor resigned and I was asked by the church to serve as the new senior pastor. The church was in terrible shape and I didn’t want to stay on as senior pastor. However, before I took a new position I wanted to be absolutely sure that it was God’s will that I stay. For 3 days I prayed on my knees that if God wanted me to stay he would have to speak to my heart. I prayed and prayed for three days. On the third day I “heard, ” so very clearly, God say to me: “Do you believe that I called you to pastor the church? [yes Lord] Rather than pray for peace to stay, stay until you have peace to go.” I was blown away! The “voice” was SO clear that I got off my knees and stayed on as the senior pastor. I believe that God does speak to us today.

Hey brother...always appreciate a teacher taking time to expose the deeds of darkness/heresy. Some excellent tidbits of truth to chew on in this video. One suggestion is to follow up this teaching with some commentary on the providential work of God. Our Sovereign Lord is still providentially working all things together according to His will. He hasn't disappeared from the 'scene'. This means the Holy Spirit is still active and directing & leading us through this life including His illuminating of the scriptures for us.
Based on many of the comments I read below and my own experience when explaining this to others, I've found that it can help diffuse some of the resistance to this truth of how God has chosen to communicate to us in these last days.

For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.


Also, read a few comments about the cannon at the beginning that it was too loud but I think it is perfect and representative of the wake-up call the church needs to shake them out of their slumber. Don't change a thing!

I've heard the phrase "head knowledge with no heart knowledge" (usually backing up this teaching where they offer other teachers to learn from as opposed to the Holy Spirit ....

And yet God knows whose hearts are far from Him despite their mouths claiming wonderful things about Him.

I felt so weird when asked by Christian coworker recently when he asked, “after you prayed, what did God say?” I lied out of feeling backed into a corner and said, “uhhh to be patient.”

Of course the same coworker always talks about Joseph Prince, so while I’m angry and grieved, I just am avoiding him for now as I learn sound doctrine silently... I’ve been learning MUCH from you while I recover from being saved first in a charismatic Pentecostal church and hope to join a biblically-sound church because the lack of fellowship is really affecting me. 😔
Any advice on how to handle being around others who are deceived? After realizing how deceived i was after growing up in the RCC, then getting into new age nonsense in college, then attending charismatic churches: I’m hyper sensitive now to others under false teaching. I used to be zealous and angry in wanting to correct others’ theology, but now find myself withdrawing out of fear of conflict and feeling like I don’t know enough. I’ve read Greg Koukl’s “Tactics, ” which has helped me learn to just ask questions... But I still find it easier to isolate myself but then feel terrible for fearing man more than fearing God and defending Him...Yet know He can defend himself, and realizing it’s actually more unloving for the deceived person to let them continue in false teaching.

Did you feel anything when you came in? She is leading people to go by thier feeling not by thier knowledge. When I sing to God I can feel his presence. But I know that he is always with me! The Holyspirit will bring the word of God that we have read to our rememberance. God's word is alive! Many people hear the Devil's 😈 voice telling them to Do Evil!
