That’s a World War 1 Stahlhelm that was used by the German army, you can tell because of the “horns” on the helmet. The “horns” were for machine gunners, because they would attach a thick, metal plate to the to give the user extra protection from shrapnel, and even small arms fire.

That's a WW1 M16 Stahlhelm. The longer brim and lugs are the giveaway. The lugs are actually for snipers, machine gunners and often Stormtroopers to attach another thick piece of armor plate to it so that it could actually stop rifle bullets at long range. Pretty much anyone expecting to take focused fire.

Hey sterling i don’t want to be annoying but it’s a WW1 German helmet those were USS used the German and Prussian armies in 1916 in the middle of the war because the world learned fabric hats won’t protect you from artillery
