How to use USB Flash Drive as RAM Windows 10.
Windows Readyboost Feature.
Windows ReadyBoost is a function that can speed up Windows 10 by storing files & data as cache on a USB Flash drive. Using this cache is useful on an older Laptop or PC that has a slow hard drive or general slow performance.
ReadyBoost works with USB drives & SD cards.

Reminder: Readyboost is only available in HDD. SSD is faster than HDD and SSD don't need optimization.

If pc says pendrive can't be used the best way to do it is formatting pendrive in pc. If you have files in pendrive it will be deleted and try it again. Make sure you uncheck quick format. You're welcome 🙂

Is there any way I can increase the amount of GB used for storage on my USB flash drive? I just bought a 32GB flash drive for this very purpose as my 11 year old HP computer is running slow. The limit of GB storage seems to be 4GB with the message 'may be less than actual free space due to file system limits'

Does this work with an external hard drive as well? I've plugged mine in, but it doesn't have the readyboost option. Also, is there a way to connect 2 computers together to share computing power? I don't expect there to be one, but you never know :3

I may have misunderstood you or missed something but I'm pretty sure you have to leave the usb in the pc for it to work but can you take it out and still have the effect? @Lurgs How To Guides

Any kind of flash drive? I tried 2 of my flash drives it doesn't work help pls
