Why I'm Taking a Break from YouTube

Thank you in advance for understanding this needed break from YouTube this week. I wanted to spend a little more time with my family. I'll be back next week with a regular Japan travel and Japan guide videos. Hope you get to enjoy the week just as much as me. I'll see you next Saturday 9:00AM (JST) like always.

Paolo is so cool and he respects his followers so much, a lot of us love so much the " Day in the Life " videos and although it is now more difficult, he continues to battle to give us more of those videos.I am also a father and I try to be with my son as long as possible, his attitude was the most correct because I always try do the same every day .

Good for you, Paolo. To be honest, I’m a bit in awe of what you and Maiko have been doing — making consistently good content WHILE raising your first child (during a pandemic!). I had to drop most of my creative projects after my first daughter was born — it was just all too much! Now, 10 years later I’m FINALLY getting my creative game back. (Now the problem is trying to stop my daughters from starting their OWN YouTube channels! Just watch Wolfie in a couple of years. ;-)

I love your content so much. I literally watch a video everyday before my shift at work while I have my coffee and blueberry muffin. Please take time for yourself and your family. There is plenty of content to enjoy on your channel as it is. I wish these videos were out when I went to Japan in 2018 but ill be ready once the borders reopen thanks to you and your wife.

I understand your reasons and I respect that. Honestly, my parents didn't really have much either when they immigrated from China to the United States as grad students. My younger sister and I were born during their time as students, so balancing school and taking care of babies was difficult. But I do appreciate the sacrifices they made for me too. Do let us know when you come back though. I always enjoy the videos you make and I've become such a fan too!
