I sold my civic Si after only 5 months of ownership. This video takes a dive into the reasons why I sold my car, also the things that I like and dislike about my civic Si, also my final thoughts of owning this car. This is my personal review of my car.

The eleventh-generation Civic Si was unveiled in October 2021 for the 2022 model year. It is only available as a sedan with the discontinuation of the coupe body style. It uses a direct injected 1.5 L turbocharged four-cylinder with variable timing control on the intake and exhaust valves, and variable valve lift on the exhaust valves. It produces slightly less power as a result of a revised powerband, 200 hp and 192 lb⋅ft of torque. Peak horsepower is reached at 6000 rpm, while low end maximum torque is available between 1,800 and 5,000 rpm. The manual transmission gains a rev-matching mode from the Type R and has been reworked. Mechanical differences include better exhaust system flow, fixed-rate dampers and larger brake rotors.

If you want 39 MPG on the highway, you can't expect super high power. Bottom line is, these cars are OVERPRICED. It's a $26K car.

A lot of people are hating on you in the comments but you made a lot of valid points. At the end of the day you purchase the car for your own needs, not the needs of others

I love my 23 Si. It’s a perfect commuter everyday car for me. I have my toy to mess around with, 2015 Camaro SS, was looking for a fun car to drive everyday and good on gas. Wish they made a hybrid version of Si though

That must suck to work from home AND have to work 8 hours a day. What a boring life. I’m sorry brother. I really feel bad for people like yourself. Both nice cars though. They both have pros and cons. At least you bought the right mustang. Put a classic Kenne Bell on it.

Appreciate the video. But Outlander looking like Range rover is a stretch. That explains the rest.

dude talks about buying a sports car. But is referencing a civic. A sedan at that lol. Then compares it to a Terminator cobra.

The terminator is insane though - can't compare power. But i bet the si is better in the twisties

You say the msrp was $27 and change but what was the final cost minus the 32? Did you brake even?

You compared a civic to a cobra. You are tripping. Te estas pasando no mms. The 2022 si will be seen as a future classic for what it is.

Yeah, not worth 35k, but at MSRP it seems like a nice ride.

You may regret it later . That civic may not be a sports car but it can be tuned. Very popular car, now that Mitsubishi while it looks nice, gas will likely be $8 a gallon by the end of summer and the reliability is questionable. Good luck.
