More like complaining to me... seems to be more about his personal taste rather than what actually matters about the vehicle.

Sport trim never had a moonroof or blind spot monitoring. That's actually one of the reasons why I bought my 2014 Accord Sport. I did not want a moonroof. Blind spot monitor is a nice to have.

Shoot, I wish I could get any car WITHOUT a moonroof.

Constructive criticism: All you needed was 10 seconds to point out the two things. You spent the other 37 seconds speaking fluff. Viewer's interest really matters. #shorts

Ya know, all these reviewers keep saying all these features should be standard, and the buyers get jaded into expecting it as well, which INFLATES car prices even more! STOP the madness!! There are no free/standard features, you PAY for them plus some. Smh 🤦🏼‍♂️.

You literally just described an EX.
Well here’s the thing with your gripes about the Sport trim level. It’s an LX with some black wheels and used to be called the LX-S and now called “Sport”. I was in Honda sales for a long time and I do get that the LX-S/Sport trim level has always confused buyers until it’s explained what it’s about and why it even exists and has for more than 20-ish yrs. LX buyers ( Accord and Civic ) always complained that it “looks” like a bargain basement car ( don’t want their neighbors to think they cheaped out) and they would go buy a Corolla/Camry LE Premium/Preferred package add on, so Honda did the same thing and called it the LX-S. LX-S/Sport is NOT a trim level above LX, it’s just an LX with some much nicer wheels and on certain years you get some darker out trim pieces etc. making it “look” far more upscale than it is. I haven’t searched the price gap for LX to Sport but the LX to LX-S was a $1k for aluminum wheels, 2 more speakers and different cloth on the seats and doors and that’s the only difference between the two and still is for the most part. The name change to Sport was a big mistake because no people (as you’re pointing out) think it’s above the LX in features when it’s actually not, it’s still and always has been an appearance package on an LX just like Toyotas Premium/Preferred package.
I so;d a lot of LX-S’s because I just simply broke it down in simple and honest terms AND would give them that package for $500 and lets face it, it just looks so much better on the exterior.

Blind-spot monitoring is a non-issue if you actually know how to drive and moonroofs always leak/fail mechanically eventually and never get used

Love the blacked-out civic look! Really growing on me after owning a 10th Gen for so long.

In my country the Sport has the 1.5T engine a moonroof and more tech… lucky me I guess

I don’t want a moonroof in a sport model, because moon-roofs add weight up top, and that affects the center of gravity of a car, making its handling worse. I’m glad they didn’t add the moonroof to this model. Get the ex if you want all of that.

Sunroofs/Moonroofs are rarely ever used and eventually lead to leaks. Unless it's a large panoramic glass top it's almost a non issue to live without.

I’m disappointed the sport doesn’t have foglights.

I don't think Honda was out of line leaving out the moonroof. I don't like them anyway. But I feel all trims should have BSM and RCTA.

No moonroof is a absolute deal breaker for me once you’ve had it there’s no goin back I feel like I’m trapped in a box when I’m in a car with no sun or moonroof.

I'm disappointed at the video for being disappointed at the budget Civic.

Agreed bsm and Rcta should be standard rather have those 2 features then Honda sensing Which I turn most of these features off anyways cause they are just annoying.

"Reasons *NOT* to buy" seems a little strong for a sunroof and BSM. I respect the fact that they have a fairly cheap sporty version. I could see not buying it if you wanted a manual transmission instead of a CVT... maybe wait from the hatchback or step up to the Touring... it's a little over $5K more than the Sport but you will get your sunroof... and a bunch of other stuff.

My 2 would’ve been it has a CVT and not enough horsepower I would like to see it pushing at least 200 hp with 200 LB FT torque

Man Toyota and honda be putting those cheap looking screens in all their cars. It looks like they screwed an old tablet to the top of the dash. Also 9th gen and 10th gen had way better interiors

I have never understood why people find blind spot monitoring or a moonroof an essential feature in a car. I’ve been driving without either for over 10 years and im ok without it.
