22h2 SOLUTION HERE :Guys the problem is with nvidia OVERLAY, whenever external overlay encounters the fps drops to half, though it is complete observational but worked for me, and will probably for you

Issue is with rtx 3050+ series
My changes:
1.Turned off windows gamemode
2.Turned off Nvidia game overlay
3.Then restart PC
4.I recommend turn off all overlays like discord, amd, nvidia

You can keep steam overlay on, on steam games, steam should not be external overlay,

Gamebar is OS centric so can be on,

These all are tested on rtx 3050, R7 4800h, . CSGO, Gta 5
I hope it helps

I have an rtx 3060 laptop and it only reaches up to 70% when playing high demanding games, battery isn't really that important to me

This is a great tutorial, but do you have a fix for my problem. I play fprza horizon 5 and when i start it or drive i get frame drops like every 20 seconds, and when i check taskmanager it says that my gpu is only using from 3-9% of its full power and i play on max graphics, do you have a fix for this? BTW specs if it is important:
CPU:Intel i7 9th generation 9700h
GPU:Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 TI
RAM:16GB
Computer: Lenovo Legion Y540

I changed my power management to maximum performance and my usage is still super low, and the frequency is still at 300 mhz.

I have a GTX 1050, it’s old but still preforms well but when I game somehow I get 60fps max on Fortnite low settings, and I saw I was using 20% of my gpu at all times… fix??

Here are some of my specs

GenForce RTX 3080
Ryzen 7 2700x
16GB ram
240 hertz monitor

For what ever reason if I used a program to benchmark everything runs as it should…high frames, GPU utilization 95-100…temp probably peeks at 70c

But once I load up a game (any game) my GPU usage plummets to low 40s and 30s with frames I know I should be getting with my RIG…any idea on what the fix could be?

I’ve researched and done just about everything I could think of

wow this by far the easiest explanation about this problem

I'm on my 3rd faulty gigabyte RTX 3080 in 2 months. And I've only had my 3rd one for 2 days and it's already too instable to run any games. This is beyond frustrating.
