Disclaimer though; if you put a higher resolution on some sites it will say there is less of a bottleneck, but it's actually just adjusting for the less frames you're going to be getting at that higher resolution (which means there is still a bottleneck)

As for me, those 'bottleneck calculators' are taking a second TechBullC(r)up after '"User"benchmark'.

One site states that my CPU will bottleneck the GPU in 33%, but other when I put 32GB of DDR4 Ram it drops it to 17%, now my CPU is OC and watercooled with 2 360 rads.
Its a good tool, but like you said, there a lot of factors. Its like the BMI for body weight.

Do not use pc builds bottleneck calculator its straight up lying. It’s comparing the head to head performance of the cpu and gpu while in gaming your gpu utilization will always be much greater then the cpu thus the cpu doesn’t have to be as fast to achieve maximum performance

Depends on the games, some simulation games with lots of physics, AI characters, etc. tend to be CPU bottlenecked, especially if they have simplistic or outdated graphics.

Some Filipinos buy the worst CPU and GPU pair that will cause bottlenecks, like cheap CPU pair with powerful GPUs.

My system has a 20% bottleneck according to the calculator. Gamed on it for nearly three years now and I have seen a total of three games where I have actually been bottlenecked enough for it to matter.

I do have a bottleneck, it's not wrong in that sense. But it just matters less than most think.

This is definitely NOT an accurate calculator
