The moment at the DAR function when Richard realizes that they've turned Rory into a socialite and she'll waste her potential planning parties. He definitely loved Rory and cared for her but that moment showed him actually being worried for her future, his concern was not for the Gilmore name, or his Yale legacy not being followed through but purely for his grandchild being robbed of her potential self.

Oh and Jess giving Rory the reality check with "WHY DID YOU DROP OUT OF YALE?" speech

Lane's mom finding out about her secret life and reacting with calmness and telling her to be an adult about it. It was so bitter sweet, heartbreaking and freeing at the same time.

Emily breaking down in tears after a perfect date.

Emily promising Lorelai to keep her lips sealed and immediately tattling about her mother in law's secret boyfriend. It was hilarious to see her lose her resolve so quickly because the senior Lorelai criticized her again and instead of smoothly putting it in the conversation or subtly hinting at it like a graceful society woman, Emily acts like a child by pointing at the mother in law 🤣🤣

April was basically a plot hole that never needed to exist, she feels like she was put there completely for drama, also a lot of small things in the show don’t match up with previously said things : when we first meet Sherry she said she wanted kids and maybe even to be a single parent, then she abandons a kid and says she’s not a baby person after that

mine is the fact that rory rejected logan and then when they were both in different relationships (even though paul is a waste of oxygen) they still hooked up. MY HEART CANNOT TAKE THAT. EITHER TOGETHER OR NOT

Their biggest issue is writing off great characters in a way that makes them good and memorable, only to bring them back and completely ruin them. Christopher and Dean are prime examples of this.

How Jess admitted that he didn't care about his girlfriend Shane, and was clearly just using her to make Rory jealous--who, in return, acted rude and condescending to her.
And how Rory later slept with Dean while he was married, feeling entitled towards him and discarded Lindsey's feelings altogether.
Neither of these two poor girls ever got a proper apology/conclusion, and my heart hurts for them, wondering what became of their lives in Stars Hollow.💔

mine is the last episode of the og series because i just found out jess and rory we supposed to end up together but Milo Ventimiglia couldn’t make it to those episodes 😭. That’s also why rory rejects logan’s proposal because she was supposed to marry Jess btw. The GG producers came out and said this lol

The whole situation with Henry and lane. Absolutely stupid. That was the most perfect opportunity and she completely blew it. I would have been grateful to see them as a public couple for even just a little bit. They could’ve written it to where things just didn’t work out between them after a while of dating, but no we have to completely rule him out all on a-count of “I was too scared to tell my mom”
He was literally perfect. Scared of what?
And then that dumb comment about how if mama Kim approves of him he wont be as appealing to lane anymore!? I know she said something like that. It was ridiculous.
