I love the fact that she said that some of her character actions were so “out of character” when she got the script. It really puts out there that she didn’t really like her character at times, which honestly is a lot of us after watching that revival

Rory's character changed overnight when she went to Yale. It was almost like a different writer writing her and a different actress playing her. It was so weird and her character never recovered.

I feel like what happened to Rory was realistic; all her life, EVERYONE talked about how special she was; they told her she was going to do big things, and her first relationship was with someone who worshipped her, so later, when she dumps dean and is told that she doesn’t have what it takes to be a journalist, it crushes her because she’s isn’t prepared for the realities of life.

I never see people liking Emily much, of course because her character is mostly written as the „evil mother“ and not part of the Starts Hollow world, but honestly the actress was amazing, she had super funny lines as well as serious ones. I also loved her character development. In my opinion an underrated character haha

1. kirk- had so much character and brought quirkyness to the show.
2. lane- sooo underrated and literally is the sweetest bsf ever, rory is so lucky.
3. michelle- was always a part of the gilmore life and he is literally hillarious.
4. jess- ngl he was always rorys soulmate....she never realized it. he may have been bad but deep down he had a huge heart and was so loyal to his love for rory.
5. luke- he dealt with the gg for years, and we have to just give him props for that.

Luke will forever be my favorite, he was selfless, humbled, and knew when he messed up he would always try to fix things. He got walked all over all the time even when he was trying his best to help others. I was so thrilled when Lorelai and him got together but I just couldn’t help but think she waited a little too long to realize what was in front of her.. either way I was more happy for HIM to have gotten the woman he had admire for so many years. As for the revival show I’m confused why everyone kind of stayed I would have assumed him and Lorelai had kids by then since they spoke about it previously and why does Rory not have much of a work history? She was a devoted writer and hard worker all those years all for nothing?? That’s just so hard to believe.. I was hoping it would have been her redemption but nope... guess they just didn’t want to add too much to the show??? Odd.
