What timing. I just finished Dune today for the first time. There were some dull parts but it's all worth it for that ending. It's so satisfying. I can't wait to see how they adapt it in the movie (and if the movie will also adapt Messiah because the first covered 70% of Dune)

Best short book review in the history of man! It only takes a minute and a half to know a book will be good. Even if you can't pronounce three fourths of the words in the book. Just go with it.

My version of dune didn’t had a glossary and it was still very much readable. The only thing it had was a sort of in universe essays of lore stuff.

It really amazes me that people would need a glossary when everything inside basically implies what’s going on and what they mean

The first time I read Dune, I was like “ok it’s not that great.”
But the second time I read Dune I was like “it’s really just not that good.”
But the third time I read Dune, I had to say to myself “it’s just not good at all.”

I'm curious as to why your book is so much thicker than mine? Is there a kind with extra content? unless it is just the letter sizing and spacing in yours compared to my one.

I give the book a second try. When reading it the first time, I gave up after three chapters (or even less). Just recently I watched the movie and maybe that helps.
