I used chatGPT and found a job 3 days later. All it did was fix my resume like grammar, and I fined tuned the rest. Like holy smack it was a lifesaver.

The secret was to basically take the responsibility sections and qualifications of a job, and modify one section on your resume to match that

If youre not lying about your background...its the same as having a professional write your resume for you...just cheaper and quicker. Really shouldn't make a difference

Maybe I can share this tip: have AI write up several versions, pick the two you like the most, combine some elements from them and then write your own, in your own voice, eschewing all the AI buzzwords and phrases, and use that version.
Your use of AI will be undetectable, if they care to use that as a filter.

I’m applying for social media jobs and in each one they mention ‘foster the community’ or some variation.

It’s so lazy but yet these same companies want to make sure I’m not using AI to write my 5th cover letter that day?

I'm not a fan of sending applications in bulk. I'll look at one job offer, read it, tweak it with AI just enough and send it. It's time consuming, yes, but much better in the long run.

So, it’s ok for companies to be dishonest by selling your personal information to Data Brokers but they want potential employees to be honest when using AI for their resume and dictation documents.

Tell it to write it for an 11th grade reading level. That is the level most newspapers are written to. ;)
