Even though God created the family, there are no perfect families. It is very difficult to raise a strong family in today’s culture. It takes hard work and commitment. A strong family is one in which the members are bound together in a pledge of love and devotion to one another.

Dr. Stanley outlines the characteristics that define a strong family and teaches us how we can keep solid relationships, even if the family is broken. Trusting God and having a personal relationship with Him becomes more important than ever.

This message is part of the series "Strong: Church, Family, Life."

6 kids here I come, My mother raised me right, she was a super attenative mother. Always there for my and my 3 brothers as a mother should. I thank God for my mother because she taught me most about the Lord, this life, making it, and family. My mother would always instill wisdome in me. Church is good, but it is a lifestyle, daily weekly day n and day out. My mother taught me most. A good church really does help. But obey God, submit to him, read his word, and do his will.

*Pray together
*Read the Bible together
*Encourage your children to have private devotions

*Discourage any kind of criticism
*At the proper age, share your heartaches, dissapoinments, trials and tough times

*Build biblical convictions into their life as a guide
*Spend time with your children

I like the way he TALKS in a normal voice and doesn't talk REAL LOUD anymore, like most of them do. He has a pleasant sounding voice. And I enjoy listening to Him. GOD BLESS! 👄 😇🙋✝🙏

One of my favourite sermons❤️ . I’m 18 and I love watching sermons on family and how to be a godly mother and wife . I can’t wait till the day I have a family and husband of my own . Bring them up right knowing the lord🙏🏽❤️ .

I'm 17 almost 18 now and I was saved when I was 15 and although I broke away from God for a few months I always turn back to Him and now I'm learning more than ever and finally feel the Holy Spirit in me making necessary changes away from the prior destruction of my old lifestyle. Thank God

My mom blessed me at the age of about 2, or 3. And the fact I remembered this, shows how important it was.. but I remember my mom teaching me about how satan was kicked out of heaven. Because he was Jealous of GOD. and wanted to be as powerful as him.. after that. I remember feeling this connection to GOD. I always had him in my mind, and even prayed as a little girl. And by myself.. I was even in foaster care for 2 yrs, 5 till 7. So being the Lord allowed my mom to plant that seed, got me through that trial. Because the lord knew that wasnt my fight. But he allowed me to grow subconsciously because he knew in the future it will be beneficial for my greater good. And in these days I have a connection to our father. And I feel so honoured he blessed me to know him as the true GOD he is... Jesus is OUR LORD 🙌🙌🙌💛🥰🙏

Dr. Charles, I didn’t grow up with a Father. My Father was murdered before I was born. I have learned from you Godly principles and also learning to be a better parent everyday. I pray that God blesses you and your generations.

I love how Dr. Stanley's always saying "Watch This". It reminds me of when we were kids & said watch this before doing a daring dive off the diving board at the pool.
