So... Exactly what happens when you take away ANYTHING a child is playing with? My little nephew does that all the time because he is a toddler! Be it a phone, doll, book...Anything! What do you expect a toddler to do? "Ah yes, mother. I see that I'm to young for this and am using it inappropriately. I yield to your better judgement." Jesus... Really?!?

It's easy to say that the kid is a brat but more importantly, kids today did not and are not liing in the same world that most of use grew up in. Technology is always evolving and that is not going to stop. What bothers me most is that even though the child was throwing a "tantrum", they ultimately gave in to her, thus creating a person who will always throw a hisssy fit when she doesn't get what she wants. I am a parent and yes, I am not perfect!! I will admit that in the throws of a huge tantrum I have given in. But know realize the implication of my actions yrs later. It is much harder to change this behavior at an older age, so I give all my support to the family now, when they need it! It can change if you stick to it!

If I had a child it wouldn't be seeing the internet outside of an academic setting until they're 18. Today's internet is just too much of a dump and I don't trust it.
