This is disturbing. These adults are completely uncontrolled and clearly mentally strained. It’s not reasonable to act like this no matter how upset you are about social issues. These people are not gonna be okay in the real adult world. You can get away with being like this online but not in the workforce.

There are people, children, animals being crushed and suffocating under buildings in Turkey and Syria yet these privileged people living cozy lives are so wrapped up in themselves that they feel inclined to cry and scream on a social media app about how oppressed and victimised they are.

It’s really embarrassing seeing fellow women react to debates or topics by crying/screaming/making a fool of themselves because it furthers the stereotype that we are unhinged by emotions and let our emotions dictate our opinions rather than facts and logical thinking. Please, if you didn’t know already that is not the case for MOST women.

edit: also it’s okay to cry over valid things, it’s a natural human response, but maybe do that OFF camera, compose yourself, then state your case when you’re in a better headspace. That’s what mentally healthy people do.
