What are reps in reserve? We can use reps in reserve as a way of measuring exercise intensity. When lifting a weight applying judgment can allow you to interpret how many reps you can still perform. This number would be your (RIR) reps in reserve. The more you exercise the better you get at interpreting how many reps you have left in the tank.
