Consumer Tip: Wheel Alignments and Calibrations

Показать описание
All wheel alignments are not created equal, and there is a difference between a routine wheel alignment after replacing wheels or tires, versus a more extensive alignment performed as a part of the collision repair process. Increased safety technology on your vehicle, such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) also rely on the steering angle sensor and vehicle centerline, and can make this a more complicated and critical task. This means your vehicle alignment can affect more than just the steering wheel angle or tire wear. Features like lane departure warning and collision avoidance also rely on an accurate alignment, and your automobile manufacturer may require calibrations and aligning the ADAS electronically when making mechanical alignment adjustments.

Theres no need for alignment for changing tires, specially all 4 tires at the same time, the suspension should not be moved for changing tires
