THERE'S SO MUCH MORE THAT GOES ON IN THE ALIGNMENT RACK THERE'S CAMBER BUSHINGS CAMBER BOLTS SHIMS A LOT OF RUSTED BOLTS PARTS SOMETIMES SHIFTING THE SUBFRAME TO CORRECT CAMBER OR CASTER THERE'S TOE SET THERE'S SHIMMING THE REAR FOR THE SOLID AXLES THE USE OF THE TORCH AND A LOT OF SWEARING AND CUSSING BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS SOME ARE EASY SOME ARE NOT etc

At our shop, it's company standard to include those.

Rear can still be adjusted, just takes a pry bar. A really big one.

That's how a toe set is done. Not a complete alignment, but good procedure I've lost count of the techs I've seen do a caster sweep without the pedal depressor in place.
