No one has yet to address the cost of a replacement battery

Watching this video, sitting in a red Sienna. Yeah, they’re freakin solid. 2021 this car was selling for only $4000 less than I paid for it, AFTER 7 years of ownership and 50, 000 more miles.

Same with Gasoline cars and trucks.
Ram 1500 for 89k😂 49k 3 years ago.
Ford F350 dually for 110k😂
Toyota Tundra Capstone 90k😂
Toyota Tacoma Trd Pro 54k😂
2024 Tacomas and Tundras for extra 2 to 3k😂.
I paid 33k for 2015 SR5 Tundra double cab.😮
No one can buy cars and trucks anymore 😢

I know a gal that was sold a 5 year old Chevy EV from a dealership. She thought it was a great deal for $6000. Turned out it needed new batteries at $15, 000 to replace or live with a declining 50 mile range.

I'mma start swarming my arms around like Scotty, so I can burn more calories. That's a few pounds off, right there for me. 😅

Also the rich people who buy electric cars wouldn’t buy them used

NEVER buy a used EV. The original owners more often than not ignore the battery recommendations and charge them all the way up to 100%, KNOWING they'll unload that thing before the battery fails.

About a year ago, a Telsa driver got locked out of his car & had to pay $26, 000 for the issue to be fixed. $26, 000 or $45, 000 could both buy you a decent & nice car, truck or suv. I won't buy an EV anytime soon or whatever. Especially if the price of a used one could buy you a relatively new &/or nice conditioned gas vehicle which is a couple or so years old.

The price of every electric vehicle of any kind should only be about 1/3 to 1/4 of what they are asking today new as that is truly about all they are worth - especially when considering what a joke they are in all aspects. A novelty/vanity toy @ best tree huggers, yuppies, & the rich - nothing more....

Yeah those batteries only got so many years in them, and I've been hearing that's an expensive swap.

When the prices go crazy means the trend will hopefully end soon

I keep up with used cars. I NEVER see EV’s for sale. They’re bricks in a field, no?

Scotty will be truly devastated when he learns about the world wide denim shortage.

Thanks Scotty ! I always look to see what your opinion is about cars.

It might be cheaper, but you’re still gonna have to buy a battery sooner

I bought Chevy Volt 2018 for net $15k (25k-10k rebate) and it is totaled now in 2023. I am getting back $18.5k from insurance. Not a bed EV deal.
Now I am looking to buy Chevy Bolt
