What do the neighbours think when they see Scotty dancing in his driveway like this.

From a engineering standpoint, I still don’t understand why electric cars and traditional private vehicle combustion engines are still being rated by mileage and not engine/battery usage cycles like airplanes and other military/industrial machines. Many well designed combustion engines can reach upwards of a million or more miles provided they are well maintained and a EV with a 10+ year old battery is going to be almost useless regardless if it was barely used or not.

As usual Scotty you put a common sense perspective on automotive issues. A lot of us think that the EV movement is not totally realistic just yet. EV' s have many problems that gas powered vehicles don't have. They could be sensible if one confines their driving to short distances in an urban area, but high mileage drivers in rural areas where towns are far apart, not so feasible or practical.

I said a few months ago I'm just going to wait until they're giving away electric cars with every purchase of a gasoline vehicle

Hey Scotty…we just bought a Model Y here in Jersey with state and federal incentives for 39K which includes upgraded paint\interior. Go online and you’ll see 2023 Model Y’s selling for over 40K. Isn’t that called appreciation?

They are? News to me. I'm not seeing much movement in my area.

I wonder if Scotty’s neighbors have a POV video they can share with the internet.

It's whatever the owner is willing to let it go for. You aren't going to find those model s plaids going for that at any dealerships..

Lots of EV’s running around the Denver area. Seems like more every day; mostly Tesla model Y’s. Not for me, because I’m just a simple man!

Does not make sense that one of Scotties customers bought a Model S Plaid. Sounds like a friend of a friend of s friend.

Seeing an electric car being towed to a charging station by a diesel powered tow truck will never get old.

The Tesla Model Y is the best selling car in the U.S. and the world. It is also the most trouble free car.

I love my Tahoe. I love my GX converted to a trail 4x4. And I love my 72 Chevelle.

Last March when the other dealers were still playing the addendum sticker game with huge mark ups and nitrogen in the tires I bought a Model Y Tesla for 30% off of sticker.

My Tahoe had had numerous warranty trips to the dealership. The Tesla. No return repair trips.

Of course I would not buy another brand of EV.

Just like flat screen tvs, when they first come out and several years after, the prices were way high. I paid $1200.00 for a 39 in. TV my first one
