Thank you for posting/sharing, after you do that repair, you could run a demo saw along the old seams to free that slab up a little, maybe you do that all ready i dont know but an old concrete guy showed me that.

awesome tips.. I didn't realize you needed a bond layer to get the new concrete to stick to the old one

But don't you need to put in those grooves again? What does it look like when it's dry? How long does it take to set?

Do you know why these kinds of videos get so many views? Because there are so many bad contractors out there, including the one I used for my patio, and people would rather try and fix it themselves. The thought of handing over a ton of money to another contractor to me is ridiculous at this point because I trust none of them. If anyone in NYC has had a bad job resurfaced well without having to rip it all out again, please let me know. I had a job done in 2016 that was bad from the get-go. I hired someone to touch it up last year and wasted more money. I was just in my yard today doing small touchups and if I could, I'd push the contractor who did the initial job into a tank of piranhas.

Question! Would this work on a very thin patio slab that is chipping away at the end where it connects with the driveway? It's essentially just dirt underneath. All input is much appreciated!

I have a driveway that is two years old but has a couple of broken areas near the expansion joint. Also have a couple of hairline cracks. What do you mix to match existing driveway color. The driveway is a very light gray. Thanks

Can you use this product in the Northeast climates e.g. NY, MA, VT? Also why did you not pressure wash or hose clean because the water that you use was dirty?

I have a chunk of concrete that broke off the side edge of our front porch - it is about 3 inches wide and up to about 1 1/2 inches thick at the bottom. Should I drill into the slab to insert a rebar before building a frame for the repair?

Nice job! Can I use this for an uneven driveway made with black top & bits of concrete? I need to put a shed up, but its very uneven.

Excellent video. Any tips on addressing the joints? I'd like to perform a similar repair on my driveway, but replace the joint filler.

Hi David. These videos are great. Hoping for a bit of advice. Need to level off my basement slab about 6 ft wide for til install. No more than an inch difference from the center to the sides. Would this product work well for the job? What's an equivalent product to Tamms?. Not sure I could get it in new york. Last have some black adhesive on the floor from ply wood they glued down to install carpet that I pulled up to get down to the slab. Can I use concrete adhesive and then I wouldn't have to worry about the product failing? I really appreciate your response!

How do you cosmetically fix the concrete AFTER it has been repaired? I have a white line of filler and it still looks awful. Help!

My sidewalk has a bunch of cracks so I'm hoping to just pour an inch or so of concrete right over top of it rather than pulling the old concrete out and starting fresh. Is this a realistic idea?
And should I be adding any type of rebar or remesh before adding the extra layer?
