In the Marine Corps, we called this the Recon Shuffle! It saved energy, especially with heavy gear and was faster than walking.😊

So basically, it's that little pep you put in your step when a car stops to let you cross.... Just a little courtesy shuffle to let the driver know you're not trying to waste their time. Got it!

Yep, this is how I look when I slow jog! Love it! No need to struggle or be in pain anymore to still get a great workout. I'll never go back!

Slow Jogger here - started Aug 28th, (its Sept 11) and I love it!!! I don't think i'll revert to simple walking about, because this is much more exciting (walking can get boring)...Thanks to the slow jogger inventor :-) I slow jog up to 1 hours and 50 minutes a day!!! Insane right...BUT ITS

I would have never believed this if I hadn't witnessed and experienced it myself!! I used to dread my long runs, as I am a new consistent runner. I am prepping for a half-marathon in December, I started a 13 week program. Initially it was a huge challenge simply thinking of the distances. Fast forward, 7 weeks in and I did a 13k on Saturday that felt unusually easy....

Now, I only dread my speed days! There's no hiding from that!😂

Also, my times are going down and my heart rate is excellent!

I've been doing CrossFit for years and I absolutely hate running days. It took my 21-year-old son who did cross country in school to show me the power of slow jogging.
I can't believe that I jogged a mile and wasn't dying just by doing slow jogging. He actually ran with me and told me to slow down multiple times and I couldn't believe that I had energy and enjoyed it!

I was a competitive runner when I was young, but injury stopped me. This is great! You could go forever!

That's how native people in mexico and central america jog around doing daily activities when they are in a hurry. I guess they have known the benefits of this for centuries

I really don't know the scientific logic behind it. But my passion is surfing, and if I did about 5 minutes of slow jogging/breathing before surfing. I did better in the water with paddling and popup.
