Growing up, I didn't have a healthy relationship with food. I was the "chubby kid," but I didn't know how to make a change. I knew I wasn't meant to feel bad about me. So I've made a declaration: It's time we learn How to Food.

When I moved away for college, I didn't know how to cook at all. I lived on dominoes pizza and chinese. Then I started to watch Youtube tutorials and looking up different recipes, and I can say that I cook everyday for myself now. My brother and my mom are chefs, so they always cooked delicious meals for me and my family. I was never really interested in learning, but I had to learn eventually when I didn't have them around anymore. I'm not as good a chef, but I try my best and I can say I'm pretty proud of myself. 2 years ago, I didn't even know how to turn on the oven! Btw, this was beautifully shot Chase. I especially loved the silhouettes part.

Food can be inspiring if you know how to cook and understand a healthy diet. Food is as overlooked as most things when people would rather eat out than to create something from scratch. Food shouldn't be taken for granted. In many ways, it's the most inspiring thing our bodies can find comfort in. Here's to food and the chef that creates it! Lovely video Chase, as always!

Hello Chase! I'm not familiar with your video making and honestly had not heard about your work until this video showed up in my feed because of SoulPancake, but I would just like to take a sec to tell you how brilliant I thought it was. Wonderfully made and it also held so much truth. "We've swapped taste for convenience and health for money". There is a really sad truth in those words. Though, well done! and I'm happy that you now have a better experience with food. Xx

My mom used to gave me what I want to eat and as a child I only ate a few healthy things. Now at my 20 years old I haven't try soooo many weird and delicious food. I actually just ate a bowl of mac n' cheese for the first time this year and my first broccoli lol
I love pizza but honestly I need vegetables NOW!

Chase this was so lovely! <3 I definitely notice a difference in my general mood and attitude towards myself depending on the kind of food I eat.

not an exact statistic, but something along the lines of total household outgoings in an average family that is spent on food is below 10%, but prior WW2 it was 50% of a family's outgoings. we spend less on food and therefore value it less too. let's re-love food.

Fortunately, my mom is a dietitian, so I grew up knowing how to read nutrition labels and understand what to avoid

I feel like this video is spreading a couple of possibly harmful misconceptions about food. Food can be processed and healthy. They are not mutually exclusive. And food doesn't have to be tasty to be healthy. Things like Soylent and Huel are almost the antithesis of what you're saying. (processed and tasteless, but healthy)

Utopia fallacy. I don't think we forgot how to food. I don't think there was a magical point in thebpastbwhen we knew how to food
