Chapter 9 of the Confession teaches the important biblical doctrine of the total inability of fallen to do anything spiritually good. We saw last time the clear, scriptural proofs for this doctrine. Still it has been widely denied. I want to address those objections.

Confessing the Faith is a theological and devotional walk through the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith with host Sam Waldron, Pastor of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Owensboro, KY and President of Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary.

I believe this but I will say my mental health is suffering badly for it, at times I just want to give it up and become provisionist because I get randomly angry at God so often. Sometimes this leads me to question if it has to be false, would God really want me to believe that He created most people as reprobates with no chance of salvation and that I could be one of them(evanescent grace)? Or would He rather me believe that all men are held responsible because they are able to respond, this seems to make more sense logically, also God seems more trustworthy from the provisionist perspective.
