Confessing the Faith | The Scripture is Self-Authenticating.
That is to say, it does not have authority because of (as the Confession says) “the testimony of even man or church.” We do not believe the Bible because of the testimony of an infallible church or an expert historian, but on the basis of altogether higher authority. We believe it and follow it because it is the Word of God.
Confessing the Faith is a theological and devotional walk through the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith with host Sam Waldron, Pastor of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Owensboro, KY and President of Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary.
