We must bow before the mysterious complexity of our great Lord. He is one person with two distinct natures sinlessly. All these truths must be held together to be an orthodox Christian by the standard of the early creeds. This great and complex mystery is summarized by Christian theologians in a phrase you should know and understand. They call it “the hypostatic union.”

Confessing the Faith is a theological and devotional walk through the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith with host Sam Waldron, Pastor of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Owensboro, KY and President of Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary.

What about in regards to the Person of Christ before the incarnation? Did He have the nature of man before He came to Earth, or only after the incarnation?

Hello

Jesus is the Messiah
The Son of God
The Son of David
The Son of man
The man God has chosen to be his anointed king
The man God will judge the world through
The man God raised from the dead

Jesus has a God
There is no triune god in scripture

Jesus said the Father is the only true God!

John 17
3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
