@Carsauce managed to get about 6.8 seconds 0-100 with the tank 500. Also there is a sport version of this bakkie coming and could be 300kw V6

Problem is, once you do bakkie things like towing will it run out of power especially on the highway. Fuel consumption will only increase from there .

I swear if this had "Ford" Badge would be 2.5 million rand! Pseries proving itself now over years, but ngeke 14litres to the 100 and it's a HEV? It should be lower than 9 (more work needed in that front me thinks) but then again, road menaces must have been test driving this car!

Bakkies are not for 0-100, they are workhorses.

They are overdoing it with all these fancy stuff like electrical adjustable rear seats. They could focus on giving it off-road tech, ability to power appliances off-grid e.t.c
