As someone who loves Goodra, this Pokémon is a hot mess and I don’t think they know what to do with it. It mechanically just doesn’t work, the mom needs a QOL buff to its passive and auto passive.

First I would make it that the goo spray from taking damage isn’t a random chance but instead an occurs after any melee damage then goes on cooldown like Garchomp’s Rough Skin. Then I would make the healing in tall grass not trigger at max HP or I would like for it to only tick while in tall grass, stopping when you leave, then continue to tick down once you’re back in the grass before going on cool down. There are so many times where I feel like I have to avoid going through tall grass at Max HP to not waste the passive. Forces Goodra to be out in the open or they play sub optimally for their kit.

As for the autos, put the boosted on a timer so you can store it. There are so many times where I wish I could just store a boosted in tall grass so I can engage with the gooey Debuff and utilize the CDR on Gordy attacks immediately. Also scrap the whole weird mechanic where you get one progress tick towards a boosted when you heal from the goey passive, it’s weird and unintuitive.

On my wish list is buffs to Muddy Water and it’s early game HP.

They only nerfed Slowbro's HP by 3% and got rid of its 10% CD reduction. The nerf barely did anything at all.

Goodra has the problem referred to in VGC as the "all my friends are dead" problem, meaning it's hard to KO, but you can mostly ignore it and KO the mons around it before dealing with it. Hard to say what they need to do to fix it.

Meanwhile, I feel like Machamp is just the biggest victim of powercreep in the game. It's not been nerfed since it was considered strong, but the rest of the game has largely moved past it.

Tsareena feels either very good or very bad, depending on the matchup. Despite it's ability, it can totally get shut down by stuns, etc.

My thoughts on Mimikyu after the trick room buff are all positive. I was such a trick room hater because it genuinely paled in comparison to shadow sneak that it felt like shadow sneak was obligatory. Now Trick Room actually feels like it can be a viable choice.

It took me until now to realize that this move is a reincarnation/iteration of Gwen’s Hallowed Mist from League of Legends/Wild Rift. When I realized that it clicked for me how to used the move.

Goodra has been one of the worst win-rate pokemon in the game since its release, and the only reason goodra isn't the literal worst win-rate tank right now is because Blastoise was nerfed into oblivion.
Even then, at least blastoise was good at one point in its career.
The goodra effect is still alive and well if that is considered "fine."

There are a few things you could do to buff goodra, most of which involve changing how it's passive works. Make it so that the regen dosen't activate in grass at full hp, goodra can attack while it is activated while not on cooldown all basic attacks are ranged rather than just the boosted

Love the videos, just picked up the game and started playing for the first time this week. With the current update what do you think are the best pokemon to use for beginners? I've watched your older videos for beginners but curious about the new meta.

Gengar is one of my favorite pokemon in unite so far.
Especially hex sludge gengar.
Also one of my most played.

Recently tho i haven't played him much.
Since the hex buff i tried him for few games but it didn't went well so i put him away again.

After your high placing of him on your tierlist i decided to try him again and he did really well in few games so im hyped to play him more.

Think this is gonna be the season of gengar.
