We asked our papahs to try Chipotle - a popular fast-casual Mexican style restaurant known for customizable burritos, bowls, and tacos with fresh ingredients. The dads rank them not only on how tasty they are but how close they are to their authentic counter parts. How do you think they'll rank?

The dad who keeps saying things are bussin is awesome dad vibes. I love it. I will say tho, it seems like their 1-10 scale is weighted heavily on the high end and you can tell because they will say its not that good and still give it a 6, 7, or 8. I know they are just being super polite. There is so much amazing mexican food out there. Good vid tho!!

I like Chipotle, but I really think it needs to stop branding itself as "Chipotle Mexican Grill." It was created by a white guy from Indiana. There's no shame in branding Chipotle as Mexican fusion or inspired. Panda Express already does it, they're branded as American Chinese food.

Edit: Y'all are out here taking this comment way too seriously! They ask the Papahs if they think Chipotle is real Mexican food, and I'm the one y'all get mad at when I add on? 🤷‍♀️

I love this series! Keep it up! If you have a Qdoba near by you could do a similar one but make sure to include the spicy queso as well as their tortilla soup if it's offered there.

Burritos were created in México and they are very common in the northwest part of México. We just don't super size everything like gringos. Burritos are usually smaller and typical on any city from this region.

When he said burritos were from the north, i thin he meant northern Mexico more than the US. Burritos are relatively popular in Chihuahua and Sinaloa. They're not the same as this style but they're burritos nonetheless

Chipotle burritos seem to be based on the mission style burritos from Pancho Villa taqueria in the San Francisco mission district. It used to be a local thing. Cheap and tasty, and filled you up for the day.
