I worked at Chipotle. It's not a secret. The only thing you pay extra for is double meat, guac, and queso. All extra toppings are free. Also, I can guarantee that the employees don't care what you order 😂

Tortillas aren’t free, trust me, I’m a chipotle cashier. It’s a $0.25 per tortilla. Also, you can ask for double portions of beans, vegetables, and rice for free. Just ask, we don’t mind. Asking immediately helps as well because it makes the job easier for us and we’re more motivated to give you extra portions. 🥰

Lol I was a chipotles once And somebody tried this and the manager ended up taking back some of the food it was hilarious And some locations charge extra now I think for tortillas thanks to all these videos online

Tips from a Chipotle employee:

Double chicken is more than $2 more.
Tortillas are each $0.25.
The only things that cost extra is Guac, Queso, and meat. FYI each meat has a different price. (Lowest-Highest) Chicken, Sofritas, Carnitas, Steak, Barbacoa, and then our seasonal meat (Brisket right now)
